Our Doctors
Craig Cox
DVM
Owner of North Reading Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Craig Cox earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. He completed his clinical training at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Ross. Dr. Cox has worked in the veterinary field since he was 16 years old. Experience as a veterinary technician prior to attending veterinary school has prepared Dr. Cox to understand all the roles within the veterinary team. A native of Woburn, Dr. Cox began his career as a doctor on the South Coast of Massachusetts at a busy small animal practice before returning to the North Shore. He has over 20 years of experience as a small animal veterinary practitioner, where he particularly enjoys working in emergency, geriatric and internal medicine. Dr. Cox lives locally with his wife and two children. He has two yellow labs named Russell and Pemi and 2 cats named Clover and Boulder. When not working, Dr. Cox enjoys spending time with his family and watching football and hockey.
Suzanne Kay
DVM
Dr. Suzanne Kay earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her final clinical year at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Kay worked as a Veterinary Technician for several years prior to attending veterinary school. Having the experience as a veterinary technician Dr. Kay knows how important patient care and comfort are while visiting or staying in the hospital. She grew up in Nahant and has worked long term at several practices throughout Eastern Massachusetts, joining North Reading Veterinary Clinic part-time in 2019. Her special interests include veterinary dentistry and feline medicine. She lives locally with her family including 2 beautiful labradors, 2 cats and a bearded dragon. When not working she enjoys reading, being outdoors, time at the beach, and watching her kids play hockey and softball.
Stephanie Solinger
DVM
Dr. Stephanie Solinger earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has practiced on the North Shore for the past 17 years as both an associate and a relief veterinarian. Her interests include feline and internal medicine. Dr. Solinger strives to provide individualized, detail-oriented care for patients of all ages and enjoys practicing medicine that encompasses all life stages.
Dr. Solinger lives locally with her family and a small menagerie of household pets that she lovingly calls the “scratch and dent crew”. Outside of her clinical duties, she enjoys gardening, baking, outdoor adventures with her children and tending to her flock of chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons and quail.
Linda Wong
DVM
Dr. Wong joined the North Reading Veterinary Clinic team in July 2025 as an Associate Veterinarian. She completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University before earning her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2025. Dr. Wong enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a particular passion for surgery. She also has a interest in exotic animals. Dr. Wong lives locally with her Rat Terrier, Siamese cat, ball python, and two red-eared slider turtles. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys cooking and baking—and our NRVC team is lucky to be the recipient of many of her delicious creations! Dr. Wong is passionate about providing compassionate care to her patients and their families and is excited to continue growing her skills and knowledge as part of the NRVC team.
Madison Faulkner
DVM
Dr. Faulkner joined the NRVC team in July of 2026 as an Associate Veterinarian.. Originally from Winter Springs, Florida, Dr. Faulkner has wanted to become a veterinarian since first grade.
She attended Florida Southern College for her undergraduate studies and during that time she worked as a veterinary technician. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, graduating in May 2026. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Faulkner enjoys fostering kittens, gardening, and reading. She shares her home with three cats—Gwen, Miles, and MJ—a dog named Sassy, and a corn snake named Tiny. Dr. Faulkner is passionate about caring for animals and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and their families at North Reading Veterinary Clinic.
Our Staff
Kristen
Kristen joined North Reading Veterinary Clinic in July of 2026 as the Practice Manager. She received her Animal Science degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2012 and has been working in the veterinary field ever since. Kristen has worked in all aspects of veterinary medicine, at both the hospital and operational level, starting in reception and working her way up to multiple hospital management. Kristen’s passion for veterinary medicine shines through in her commitment to making every pet feel safe and comfortable during their visit while providing pet parents with the knowledge and support they need to keep their companions healthy.
In her spare time, Kristen loves spending quality time with her pets, friends, and family (especially her young daughter Quinn) as well as freshwater fishing and collecting shells at the beach.
Maddie
Maddie began working at North Reading Veterinary Clinic as a Kennel Technician in January of 2020. At the time, she was completing her senior year at Essex Agricultural and Technical School where she studied in the Veterinary Science program.
Upon graduating from high school, Maddie enrolled at Ashworth College to further her knowledge of veterinary technology and graduated in January of 2025. A year after graduation, Maddie passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE), which allowed her to achieve her goal of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Maddie enjoys learning new techniques, helping our patients on a daily basis, and also establishing a connection with their owners!
Before working at NRVC, Maddie volunteered her time at a grooming salon as well as a therapeutic horse farm to gain new experiences and to help both people and animals. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her own pets. She shares her home with two Boxers named Nova and Karma and her Cockatiel named GB.
Nicole
Zoe
Zoe joined the North Reading Veterinary Clinic team in 2021 as a kennel technician during her senior year of high school. She attended Essex Agricultural and Technical School, where she studied Animal Science and quickly discovered her passion for veterinary medicine. After graduating high school, Zoe continued her education at Long Island University, earning her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2026. Zoe is currently working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician and plans to continue her education in veterinary school, with the ultimate goal of becoming a veterinarian and pursuing a diplomate in Veterinary Dentistry.
She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine and especially enjoys taking on new challenges, learning new skills, and continually expanding her knowledge. Zoe brings enthusiasm, compassion, and positive energy to the clinic every day. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Zoe manages the hospital’s social media content, giving our community a behind-the-scenes look at the everyday life of North Reading Veterinary Clinic.
Outside of work, Zoe shares her home with five cats and four dogs—so there is never a dull moment! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, relaxing with her pets, and attending car shows.
Sharon
Sharon joined the NRVC team in March of 2025. Sharon has been working in the veterinary field since 2017, beginning her career in reception before working her way into the role of Veterinary Assistant. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience in both emergency (ER) and general practice (GP) hospitals, giving her a well-rounded perspective on veterinary care and client service.
Originally from the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, Sharon moved to Massachusetts in 2023 after marrying her husband.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Sharon is an accomplished writer and published author! Under the pen name Lucy Regina, she has published four books and hopes to continue growing her collection with more books in the near future. Sharon shares her home with three cats and a dog. She is also excited to welcome a baby girl in September 2026, making this an especially exciting chapter in her life. Sharon brings her experience, compassion, and love of animals to her work and is proud to be part of the veterinary community.
Kaity
Kaity Joined the NRVC team in May of 2026 as a Veterinary Assistant. Kaity started her career with animals as a local pet sitter, where she quickly became a favorite in her community for her commitment to ensuring pets feel safe and receive the best care.
Kaity has worked in shelter medicine, Assisting in the management of a large a volume shelter in southern NH before obtaining her Veterinary Assistant Certification from Salem state University in 2022. Kaity is certified in canine and feline first aid and CPR through the Red Cross and is also a goodpup certified basic dog trainer. Kaity shares her home with her Doberman mix, Fae.
Maria
Maria is our head receptionist. She has been working at North Reading Veterinary Clinic since 2002. Maria enjoys greeting both the people and pets that are coming into the clinic. She shares her home with Letty, a Boston Terrier and Tony, a domestic shorthaired cat. Maria enjoys spending free time with her daughter as well as scrapbooking and reading.
